Bridging Program

Overview of the Bridging Program:

A program that allows students holding a diploma to obtain a bachelor’s degree upon meeting the required conditions and standards.

The program provides opportunities for students holding an associate diploma to continue their studies and earn a bachelor’s degree at Masar University. The courses in this program are designed to bridge the gap between the student’s previous education and the requirements of third-year university courses as smoothly as possible.

The program can be completed within two academic years under a three-semester system or more, depending on the student’s entry level, skills, and the academic program they intend to join. After successfully completing the first preparatory year, the student must study (at least six semesters) at Masar University to complete the bachelor’s degree.

The Bridging Program aims to enable diploma holders to smoothly continue their university studies by preparing them academically and intellectually to join suitable majors at Masar University.

Program Objectives

  • To enable graduates of technical, administrative, and related colleges who hold associate (diploma) degrees to continue their studies and obtain a bachelor’s degree from Masar University.

  • To enhance students’ scientific and intellectual competence by providing them with the academic foundations necessary to effectively pursue university education.

  • To increase academic and professional success opportunities by developing students’ skills and empowering them to excel in their fields of specialization.

  • To improve performance in scientific subjects, enabling students to excel in their future university studies.

Program Outcomes

1 – Develop the academic knowledge necessary for a smooth transition from a diploma to a bachelor’s degree.

2 – Develop study and research skills such as analysis, critical thinking, and self-learning.

3 – Enhance practical competence in the field of specialization to support academic and professional excellence, and increase employment and career advancement opportunities through obtaining a bachelor’s degree.
