About the program
The Master of Risk Management prepares qualified professionals able to identify, analyze and assess potential risks in business and organizational settings, and to develop effective strategies to reduce their impact.
The program combines modern theory with practice in financial, operational, strategic and technological risk, as well as the risks linked to governance and compliance.
It develops data-driven decision-making and the use of the best global standards and advanced analytical tools, to ensure business continuity and protect organizational assets in a fast-changing, challenging environment.
Program outcomes
- In-depth knowledge of modern risk management theories and international standards such as ISO 31000 and COSO, and of their role in corporate governance and strategic decision-making, with the ability to distinguish types of risk and how to handle them.
- Understanding how risk is analyzed and assessed in different settings (financial, technological, environmental, operational), and integrating governance, compliance and sustainability into enterprise risk management.
- Analyzing complex scenarios and formulating risk management strategies, evaluating the effectiveness of response plans and proposing alternatives based on evidence and current policy.
- Using advanced tools and techniques such as Monte Carlo simulation, risk maps and assessment matrices, and developing integrated enterprise risk management (ERM) programs with specialized software.
- Preparing comprehensive professional risk reports with executive recommendations, and designing contingency and business continuity plans based on thorough analysis.
- Effectively leading multidisciplinary teams in crisis and risk management, communicating professionally with regulators, investors and partners, and upholding ethical and professional standards.
