About the program

The Bachelor of Digital Law is a modern program that combines the study of law with an understanding of the digital environment, in response to the legal challenges that technology has created in commerce, media, administration and relations between individuals.

Students study the foundations of civil, criminal, administrative and constitutional law, together with data protection and privacy law, electronic contracts and digital signatures, intellectual property in the digital environment, cybercrime, artificial intelligence law, and blockchain and smart contracts.

The program prepares graduates to work in the legal departments of companies and technology organizations, in compliance and data protection, and to continue to postgraduate study in digital law.

Program outcomes

  • Understand the foundations of legal science and its main branches, and apply them to issues in the digital environment.
  • Know local and international legislation on data protection, privacy, e-commerce and intellectual property.
  • Analyze legal issues arising from modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and smart contracts.
  • Draft electronic contracts, memoranda and legal opinions using legal databases and smart research tools.
  • Understand cybercrime, digital investigation procedures and the legal compliance requirements of cybersecurity.
  • Uphold the ethics of the legal profession in the digital environment, and communicate legal matters effectively in writing and orally.
