Transparency, fairness and compliance with quality standards.

The Development and Quality Department of Masar University is the university’s official reference for all academic, administrative and organizational regulations, ensuring transparency, fairness and compliance with quality standards.

Learner and professional training policies

These policies set out the rights and responsibilities of learners on the professional and training courses the university offers: how to make a complaint or appeal a result, and how we protect your data and ensure equal opportunities. The official text of each policy is an English PDF, with a short summary under each title.

  • Complaints Policy

If you are not satisfied with any service the university provides, you have the right to make a complaint. We handle it in strict confidence, and it will not affect how you are treated or assessed. Start by speaking with the member of staff concerned, or send your complaint directly to info@masaruni.ae. We will follow it up with you until it is resolved within 30 days at most, after which you may ask the President of the University for a final review.

  • Appeals Policy

If you believe an assessment decision on one of your professional courses is unfair, you have the right to appeal. First discuss the decision with your assessor, then email the appeal form within five working days of the decision. The Internal Quality Assurance Officer replies in writing within 20 working days, after which you may ask the President of the University for a final review.

  • Assessment Malpractice Policy

The university protects the integrity of assessment so that its certificates are fair and trustworthy for everyone. This policy explains what counts as cheating or malpractice, such as plagiarism or sitting an exam on someone else’s behalf, how we investigate any report fairly, and your right to respond and appeal before any final decision. Anyone can report malpractice, even anonymously, at info@masaruni.ae.

  • Reasonable Adjustments and Special Consideration Policy

If you have a disability or difficulty that affects your learning or your exams, you can ask for reasonable adjustments, such as extra exam time or materials in an accessible format, ideally within seven days of enrolling. If you face an emergency beyond your control at the time of an assessment, such as illness or a bereavement, you can ask for special consideration within seven days of the assessment at info@masaruni.ae.
